Membership & Appointments
The Kenton County Planning Commission comprises 20 members representing various jurisdictions within Kenton County. Membership and appointments are governed by Kentucky Revised Statutes (KRS) Chapter 100, which establishes the framework for planning commissions across the Commonwealth.
Each member is appointed by the executive authority, with the consent of the legislative body, in the respective jurisdiction. This ensures that local communities have direct input into the Commission’s composition. This structure highlights the Commission’s role as a collaborative body that serves multiple municipalities as well as the county as a whole.
