The Direction 2030: Your Voice, Your Choice process spanned over 3 years and included 105 chances or public involvement.  Varios opportunities for input included traditional public meetings, discussions with cities, an elected officials forum, and focus group discussions.  The plan has continuously sought to be the voice of the community.  Click here to learn more about the work that occurred behind the scenes.

For the first time in over 40 years Kenton County has a new comprehensive plan that was warranted due to changing demographics and economic conditions. Significant effort was required to research, draft and shepherd the plan through the adoption process. The timeline below provides an overview of the work that was carried out to develop a new set of goals and objectives as well as recommendations for the Direction 2030 plan.
