Chapter 147 – State and Area Planning
The legislation that became Chapter 147 of the Kentucky Revised Statutes created and guided the Council’s and Commission’s actions since 1961.
Chapter 198B – Housing, Buildings, and Construction (Building Code)
The details and definitions which establish standards for the mandatory Uniform State Building Code are listed in Chapter 198B of the Kentucky Revised Statutes.
The Kenton County Cell Tower Regulations were adopted May 2, 2019.

These regulations create the mechanisms, further define the powers and duties, and set forth the standards and requirements necessary to administer responsibilities granted to local planning commissions by Chapter 100 of the Kentucky Revised Statutes (KRS).
