Kenton County Planning Commission (KCPC)

The Kenton County Planning Commission (KCPC) is a 20-member body appointed by the county judge/executive, mayors, and legislative bodies. The KCPC is charged with the adoption of the Comprehensive Plan, along with pursuing and administering other provisions of the Kentucky Revised Statutes (KRS) Chapter 100. Each planning commissioner is appointed to staggered, four year terms by their respective jurisdiction or by the planning commission itself. The KCPC employs a staff of planners and other persons as it deems necessary to accomplish its assigned duties under the Kentucky Revised Statute Chapter 100.
